Roadmaps
"Just learn to code" is terrible advice. There are hundreds of languages, thousands of frameworks, and zero consensus on where to start. These roadmaps give you a specific, ordered path through the chaos. Follow the steps. It works.
1
Pick one language and actually learn it
Not two. Not three. One. Variables, loops, functions, then basic data structures. Resist the urge to switch.
2
Build something real, however small
A calculator. A to-do app. Anything. Building removes the gap between understanding concepts and actually using them.
3
Learn algorithms and data structures
Not to pass interviews (though that too), but to understand why some code is fast and some is catastrophically slow.
4
Specialize and go deep
Web, mobile, ML, systems, security — pick a direction and dig. Breadth gets you in the door. Depth gets you the offer.
